During the month of November 2012, Killian developed diabetes. We began twice a day insulin shots, but on November 26, 2012 Killian left this world. He became very sick with a blood infection due to the diabetes. Losing Killian has been devastating, but I am very thankful that I had Killian in my life for 14 wonderful years. He was a true JOY to me and my husband, he will be missed, but ALWAYS remembered.
Rest in Peace Killian Michael 10/17/98 – 11/26/12.
Below is the original write-up on Killian, I plan on keeping it on this page because he is forever in my heart.
In Loving Memory of My Little Red Dog.
Meet Killian:
He loves everything and everyone, he is a Miniature Pinscher (also known as the Min Pin), Killian is my adventure dog. We got Killian in 1998 and he was a 1 yr. old rescue from a shelter, he is still as full of life now at 14 as he was at 1. Killian finds everything amusing and goes 90 miles an hour, he loves being outdoors and loves to watch the birds. He wishes his brother Stuart would play with him more, but he makes his own fun. He is a joy to watch and loves to give kisses.
Loving the great outdoors.
He makes me laugh everyday.
He sometimes is naughty. He loves mud, we had a new ground well dug a few years ago and it was a mess, I should have known he would dive right in. He got lots of baths after that play date.
Killian and his Mommy.
Meet Stuart:
He loves his parents and he sometimes loves his brother Killian, he is a Chihuahua and Stuart is always at my side. I got Stuart in December 2005. He was found on a co-workers porch on one of the coldest days in December, he was in poor shape. He was abandoned and in need of medical care, food, a home and lots of love. So that’s what we gave him. What he gave us back is so much more. He is very loyal and proud, and if you have ever had or know a Chihuahua, you know what I mean by proud. We think he is 10 years old but really have no way of knowing for sure. The vet though he was 3 when I found him. Stuart loves to show off his good looks.
He loves to garden right along side of me.
He loves being in the shade.
He likes to watch Killian run around.
Now you have to meet my little Ginger Lou. Ginger came into our lives shortly after we lost Killian in November 2012. She is so sweet, and she is my first little girl. She loves Stuart and Stuart loves her! They play so well together, I was so happy when they hit it off so well. Ginger loves to play, I mean loves to play. She unloads all her toys everyday and seriously plays with them all. She love to play in the snow and learns really fast. I don’t want to brag, but I think my little girl is a genius;-).

Well that is Killian, Stuart and Ginger too, they are my fur babies and they are a true joy in my life. They have enriched our life with their love and loyalty.
I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me they are the role model for being alive. ~Gilda Radner

So nice to meet you this weekend at Blend. I absolutely love this page and can totally relate with Stuart getting on things to get a better view. Anytime I try to pack to go somewhere Lincoln either sits on my luggage or right besides it. Such handsome boys you have!
It was so great meeting you too, had a blast on the hike with you. Can not wait for next year! Still making my way home. Need sleep!
They are too cute:) Stuart looks like a little sweet pie and Killian looks like a bundle of energy:) Treats are in order for both of them!!!
Thanks you so much…They each enjoyed a treat tonight and they thank you for commenting.
